POLICIES 2009-2010

Triumph School of Music term is from September 2009 to June 2010.

Fee Schedule

Lessons are billed on flat-rate monthly basis. Lessons on Monday, Friday, or Sunday are $70 per month. Lessons held on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday are $80 per month. Books and materials, including instruments, are not included in the lesson price.

Payment for Lessons

Lessons must be paid monthly in advance by a pre-authorized credit card form (document available in store) or by post-dated cheques (first of each month) made payable to Triumph Music. Alternately, if the full year tuition is paid by September 15, 2009, you will receive a 10% discount.

Missed Lessons

Refunds or credits will not be given for missed lessons with or without advance notice. We regret that we are unable to schedule make-up lessons for a missed lesson.

Substitute Teachers

In the event that an instructor is absent, we will endeavour to provide a substitute teacher for that lesson or lessons. A credit cannot be issued if you chose not to attend this lesson. If we are unable to provide a substitute teacher, we will contact you as soon as possible and apply a $20 credit to your account.

Withdrawal from Lessons

Two weeks notice is required, in writing, for withdrawing from lessons. Failure to attend does not constitute withdrawal. Refunds for a yearly pre-payment will be made at the discounted lesson rate, plus a $50 administration fee.

School Calendar

Triumph School of Music will be closed on all civic and statutory holidays, spring break, and Christmas holidays. Notices will be posted in the music school one week in advance. A full year calendar is posted on the website and we would encourage you to consult the calendar to be aware of closure times.
